Welcome to the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel!
I am very pleased that you are considering making the Basilica your parish home.
Registering with the parish is more than simply completing a form; it is a way of saying that you desire to be part of this community of faith. It allows us to better know you, serve you, support your family, and help you become more fully connected to the sacramental, spiritual, and communal life of the parish.
I hope you will find at the Basilica a place where your faith is strengthened, your gifts are welcomed, and you are encouraged to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I look forward to welcoming you personally and walking with you as part of our parish family.

Encounter Christ
For generations, the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel has been a place where the people of Pensacola encounter Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, the Sacraments, Sacred Scripture, and prayer. Rooted in our Catholic faith and enriched by the beauty of our historic church, we seek to lead every person into a deeper relationship with Christ.
Grow in Community
Faith is not meant to be lived alone. At the Basilica, we seek to build a welcoming parish family where people can form meaningful relationships, deepen their faith, and support one another on the journey of discipleship.
Live the Mission
Every disciple is called to bring Christ into the world. We encourage our parishioners to use their gifts in service, share the Gospel with others, care for those in need, and help build up the Church and our community.
Post Storm Update
I am doing well and the buildings received no major damage. Sunday Masses will be celebrated at their regular times 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Please note that fallen trees and debris remain , parking near the Basilica will be limited. Activities in the parish hall are canceled for Sunday and Monday. The Parish does not have internet or phone service. We do have power.
Your safety is a priority.
If road conditions are unsafe or you feel it is best to stay home, please do so. I encourage everyone to use good judgment.
Please stay safe, and know that you are in our prayers.
